I don't really want it to be anything more. The biggest issue with hollow knight was having a massive world map that didn't really live up to its scope. Silksong doesn't really need to do more than improving the exploration, combat, and platforming.

Team Cherry said themselves that they absolutely are not shadow dropping the game. I think Silksong will release in 2-4 weeks because TC aren't the people who like to talk about a release date until the game is complete, meaning that revealing an October release date tomorrow is out of the question.
