I like these games enough, honestly. I don't have a problem with how off the rails the series has become. You can only World War 2 so many times in a yearly release. It's like people complaining Resident Evil isn't a fixed camera zombie series anymore. Yeah its not the same, I'd argue there is still fun to be had. I always pick these Doody games up a few years later at the retro store.

Maybe there might be some youtubers that genuinely might want to play BF6 over BO7. I'll admit that 15 years ago I vastly preferred Bad Company 2 over MW2 but still hopped back in for BO1. But at the same time there's just a lot of social media brainrotted goblins that think they're achieving something or being part of some grand crusade by spamming Battlefield 6 in fucking youtube stream chats.

I never liked the futuristic ones, in fact I stopped caring about CoD with Black Ops 2 even though it was a very popular one. Design and world building are just uninteresting, they should stick with the Cold War.
