Ah, yes, us, the MODERN AUDIENCE that the game was targeted at, surprisingly didn't show up and guzzled down the torrent of shit the hekin based baseddevs (our guys) tried to blast at us.
Curious, why?

No.
Did you see the concept art? It was actually kinda neat. If they had stuck with that art, they could have made a neat sci-fi game like Mass Effect or something.
Instead, they chose the most play it safe option, with art that was toothless, a simple team based hero multiplayer shooter, with all the DLC, microtransactions, and loot boxes.
It didn't fail by chance, it was destined if not navigated straight to failure, and I don't feel bad at all.

I bought it an played probably 10 hours, the gameplat was mediocre at best, the maps were randomly thrown together with no sense of understanding, the character abilities were randomly compiled from a list of other popular games, the sound design didn't fit the guns and there was no feeling of weight on any of them. It was all around a 5/10 game that was made worse by the abhorrent visual design
I liked the mushroom gun.
A friend of mine wanted to get it on principle
He lived in Concord.
Still kinda suprised it shut down and refunded. It takes a special kind of flop for that.

At a certain point people were just namedropping it, you could say "I dont like gacha" and you'd get OKAY CONCORD XISTER"
Im getting kind of burned out on the culture war

At this point i can't even see OP having malice, it's just some kid running with a dead rat that had a particularly hilarious death at this point.

It doesn't matter how harsh anyone was on it, the only thing that mattered was that it had no players which subsequently caused it to be taken offline.
