As a devout Christian, I can tell you the problems with each starting from the top and going clockwise.
>Presbyterian
Protestant church governed by elders, hence the name. While traditionally faithful, their polity has since been corrupted with female leadership and a concerning level of tolerance towards homosexuality.
>Baptist
The strongest in terms of traditional values, but recent schisms have lead to northern branches adopting theology similar to Presbyterians.
>Methodist
Same as Presbyterians.
>Puritan
Extinct. Known for strange naming conventions and a hatred of popular culture.
>Orthodox
Causers of Christendoms greatest schism. They claim to be the true Catholic™ Church. Greek variants are generally the same as Presbyterians in terms of liberalism.
>Lutheran
Presbyterians on steroids. If you see a gay marriage taking place in a church, then it's a Lutheran church.
>Catholic
The true Catholic™ Church that was so true in launched several wars attempting to kill anyone who disagrees with them. Belief and devotion range greatly, with many disillusioned at the practices and teachings of the church.
>Huguenot
Extinct. Literally irrelevant protestant branch.
>Anglican
Heretics. The British governments excuse to not be Catholic.
>Coptic
Meme Orthodox wannabes.

Breaks my heart that this is a possible perspective. ELCA completely betrayed the faith in the mid 2000s and I'm still hot blooded about it. These days I hang around with Wisconsin and Missouri Synod churches. While I still have disdain for the strip mall Lutheran churches, ideologically they are far more in line with traditional Christian beliefs than even Catholics in some regards. All I ask is that you realize the divide and conquer tactics of globohomo subversives apply at every denomination, especially Lutheran and Presbyterian. I suppose it's true with Baptists, but I consider them a lost cause. I'm going to take a guess that you aren't from the United States.
I appreciate your assessment, although it is pretty dismissive in general.

I was born and raised in a catholic country, how do bong schools teach the birth of anglicanism?

Over here our (unbiased) education system taught us that Henry the VIII litterally just wanted not to pay taxes and skewer more than one woman, so he made up the catholic church but with blackjack and hookers, with him as both the dealer and the pimp, but I somehow doubt that is what the people who are raised anglican believe.

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VRT2FFXntc
Jesus Christ is God who came to earth from heaven in the flesh. He died as a sinless sacrifice for the sins of the whole world to save you from eternal hell, the punishment for your sin. He was buried, then resurrected and is now in heaven. Do you regret your horrible sinful state? Do you want forgiveness? Put your faith in the blood atonement of Jesus Christ which is sufficient to wash your soul from all sin eternally. Let go of the faith you have in your own effort in trying to please God. You can only be redeemed with the blood of Jesus Christ. "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." (John 10:28) God wants to forgive you, but you have a choice. Your deeds, no matter how good you think they are can NEVER justify you. You're corrupt and need to be saved. “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” (Romans 5:9) Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, in what HE did for you. Salvation is a gift, it can't be earned. God has given you much time to repent of your sinfulness and self-righteousness.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10)

Define hostility. I agree we shouldn't be like the fundie lmao god hates gays faggots but we absolutely cannot affirm sexual deviancy. It would be both dishonest and evil to let someone damn themselves like that. One of the functions of the church is also to discipline people who persist in grave sin. Here in northen Italy we were raised with the "a good christian must protect his jewish cousins" mentality, but since the previous generation's devotion to christ was either performative or weaponized to further political goals, it has led the majority to abandond the faith as soon as they became of age, while at least the half of those who still belive (my estimation) do so in spite of their parents vague idea of christianity, so all the post-war morals that were injected by the survivors of the silent generation are being questioned, at least internally.

Martin Luther, a devout Catholic monk, his reformation is a desire to return to what the Bible teaches more purely without the dubious additions to the faith the Church at the time introduced. "Protestant" doesn't refer to the protesting of the Church, but rather the Pope's primacy over the Church. That is, the Bible has supreme authority over whatever governance of Christendom. It is otherwise (supposed to be) EXACTLY Catholic. Conservative Lutheran Churches, especially those in Germany, look much more like Catholic churches than other Protestants and even some Catholic churches.
Sorry, that's a wordy way of saying that Lutheranism is a distilled Christianity, doing away with the corruption humanity inherently introduce into the faith.

DESU I don't particularly even like the term Lutheran or Protestant as a result. I don't like thinking it as a denomination or sect. It is simply Christianity. I'm sure every dingus says the same about their 19th century American heresy, though. Hence, the struggle continues.

I was a contractor for the Mormons before. I got to work in their office where they do all their apps, websites, everything technical. I learned a lot. One thing I learned is that despite no coffee or tea, Red Bull and Monsters were fair game. I also had it in my contract that I could bring in a drink coffee lol.

Yeah... I'd take a Mormon neighbor over an atheist any day of the week, though.

That's not true. That's not true at all.

This is honestly the real move. There are certain pillars to being a Christian, the main one is believing Christ is God. If anyone believes otherwise, they are part of a cult.

That’s because Christians are the 2nd most actively annoying religion in the West, do you expect people to get angry about Satanists who do basically nothing?

That's a pretty complex question and the answer varies a lot depending on who you ask. As far as i was taught, forming community is good because interacting with people makes doing acts of kindness, mercy devotion and all that easier. And even if you don't adhere to any denomination formally, you are likely to orbit to similarly mindes people, SPECIALLY if you study the bible.

He's not an anti-christian by any stretch of the imagination. He likes christianity, thinks it's a net positive for the world, just happens to not believe in it.

Yeah that communion with like minded Christians is important, but probably one of the biggest challenges to being a practicing Christian. You step in enough churches doing obvious heresy, pan-handling, and fakery/sorcery to make boomers freak out and you will want to walk out. Also, a lot of non-denoms are straight up cults, or cults of personality with weirdo sociopathic attendants.

Why wouldn’t you want me as a neighbor? I literally keep to myself
