i prefer one handed so i can dual wield. or archery.

for shame. what platform did you play on

since i was new archery felt too weak, dual wield felt weird so i went with most comfy choice big sword in face, played on pc

you have to upgrade it with perks. stealth archer build is popular . since it was your first time im pretty interested in what you thought of the game overall, plot wise and just overall. did you enjoy it? also im sure you had heard about the game for forever did it live up to the "hype" ? do you plan to play again and if so will you use mods ? was it your first bethesda fgame /

How will Hammerfell sort out Skyrim's civil war without really canonizing a side's victory?
The Aldmeri Dominion took advantage of the weakened Stormcloak and Imperial forces to take hold of the province? The Reachmen and the Falmer teamed up to Eiffel Tower the asshole Nords? Alduin ate both leaders?

You've heard of the Warp in the West, now get ready for the Warp in the North.

i hate stealth anything, i liked the game overall felt a bit overhyped but for a bethesda game it is normal, would play again maybe in the future, fallout 3 was my first beth game

I kind of wanna try Thief, how intrusive is it?
Will I have to disable half my SL tigger mods to not break it?

Don't be a retard. Play vanilla. Only if (if) you end up thinking "Damn, I NEED this and that thing changed or I won't be able to play this game", THEN you can start thinking about mods.

i played vanilla on console all those years ago why not try mods since i have a pc now ? its a pretty good pc at that

Just download a modlist then. There should now be a few cutting edge ones that use CS instead of ENB.

I just realized my mind completely blanked out on the "in a decade" part. Thought it was gonna be your very first time. My bad.
From my own experience with Skyrim mods - nobody has any idea what this decade and a half old game's modding scene is like. It's utterly autistic and disorganized and there aren't really "The go to mods" for it like there are for most other games. You gotta figure out what you didn't like about vanilla skyrim and then try to get recs for mods capable of remedying it. Like I personally wanted a mostly vanilla experience but one where 99% of the perks, spells, enchantments, and weapons weren't complete dogshit, so I managed to ask around until I was pointed towards Enai and Simon, the two primary suppliers of vanilla+ overhauls. Took Enai's vampires and werewolves because Simon's sucks ass, but the rest was from Simon. Had a decent bit of fun with those.

Believe it or not I'm not looking for coomer mods. I'm interested in combat improvements/overhauls, UI improvements, and graphical enhancements

Still building my modlist, probably very shitty but it runs. I'm worried about how many redundant bug fix mods I have. Might switch out Nature of the Wildlands and Freak's Floral Fields because I like having stable 120 frames with Cabbage ENB.

>How will Hammerfell sort out Skyrim's civil war
They will just talk about it as a rebellion that happened without mentioning a victor. I agree they'll probably say the thalmor moved in right after as a kind of "actually both sides lost" sort of thing.

its going to play like shit no matter what
the problem with skyrim modding combat is that you have to choose between Korean mmo bullshit or the stiff dungeon crawler gameplay which I kind of like personally
either way you're better off doing archery mods or spell mods
