What is a voxel? I don't understand. Pixel as a concept exists because it's the smallest dot that can be displayed on a screen. Voxel just seems to be an arbitrary-sized cube.

I played The Touryst recently because I love voxel art, but to be perfectly honest, I don't think that art is remarkable.
There are some cute things, and the visuals aren't bad, but it doesn't compare to the many things you find when you search for art made in Magica Voxel.
I don't know of any game that uses voxel art that is truly worth contemplating ar art.
