Are magic users the most stupid and worthless class in fantasy RPG?
>Can't beat people to death with a hunk of metal mounted on a huge stick!
>Too weak carry all the loot! Has to only pick the weight efficient loot!
>No badass martial arts knowledge and moves!
>Weak arms and legs. Smol biceps, pecs, abs, back thighs and glutes compared to the warrior!
>Not as durable and tough as the warrior!
>If the opponent gets into melee range, it's over for the mage.
>Not as fast and agile as the warrior!
>Cannot wear steel plates and chainmail over his body to shgield himself from attacks!
>Not as masculine as the warrior!
>Hard countered by anti magic field!
>Not as honorable and chivalrous as the warrior. Needs to use cheap tricks to win a fight.
>Reliant on mana as a rescource. Needs to fuel up regularly and can't do as deep expeditions away from civilisation as the warrior.
>The warrior can still use magic spells with enhanted items, wands and scrolls while the mage can never become as much of a badass as the warrior and learn martial arts!
>The warrior comes in many different flavours like classic warrior, knight, berserker, gladiator, barefisted monk, pirate, samurai, viking and more. Magic users are all the same.
>Mages will never feel the joy of finding progressively cooler weapons and armor and going from a basic stick to a powerful legendary axe or hammer.
>Magic does not exist outside of medieval fantasy while warriors exist in games like Cyberpunk and Fallout too. Magic won't stand the test of time like warriors and martial arts in modern and sci fi settings.

They used to be the top dog in fantasy, and not by any small amount, because everyone that was into it were nerdy intellectual dorks.

It always sucked that way because strength worked like it does irl but int always had like extea fantastical bullshit. You couldn’t be strong like Hercules where everything just fucking bounces off of you, which is why Int classes always dominated
