This would be a PEAK game if they didn't feel the need to insert modern feminist values. If they had just made it more historically believable it would possibly go down as a classic. As it is, we'll all forget about it because no matter how great everything else about it is, it's just gonna be "HEY LOOK, LESBIANS!! HOMOSEXUALITY IS NORMAL AND HAS BEEN SUPER COMMON THE WHOLE TIME". it's just a transparent propoganda piece.

I have no problem with gay or female protags in fantasy or modern settings. Or even historical-fantasy settings. Weird stuff in assassin's creed is fine because it's not trying to sell me on its historical grounding. But this game is trying to be 'gritty' and 'real'.
