Journey is a very special game for me. I met Austin Wintory at a party years ago and told him how much I loved his soundtrack. Really nice guy.

This game seems nice too but holy fuck it was running bad so I'm thinking of waiting for some updates

Too fast for your toaster, that's all.
Did they fuck up the PC version?

Idk man I think it's just the PC version
people with super computers are complaining about stutters so maybe it's more a shader compilation issue than actual raw performance

also can you get off your sword board ever or are you glued to it

You can ride the fish like in Abzu but otherwise it's: glued to sword
Which may look silly when doing tight platforming, Though something tells me i'm supposed to git gud instead of analyzing the jumps.

I think it controls tight enough to not be an issue, I just wanted to hop on and off for the cool factor
fuck it I'll just play it today and hope the framerate stabilizes

If you're going to have an artsy fartsy exploration game then having the movement be really fun is a great idea
This game is kinda what I wish the last open world sonic game was

Everysingle game out of this studio has been ultra focused on movement, even Flow, Flower. Those are games that feel good in the hands. I call this new genre i've invented "Walking Massages".

>activate four switches to open the door
Really, again? That's antiquated gameplay. I should be opening doors by doing tricks until the mechanism kneels in awe at my skills.
