The Teen Titans time travelled and fucked up history so badly that they needed to go back and undo all the changes they made. Which included making sure Bruce's parents died in Crime Alley.
The show isn't that bad, it has some episodes where it's clear they're making puerile brainrot just to compete with Tiktok and Youtube, but a lot of the time, they're actually making an effort. There are deep cut DC characters, nods to other movies and cartoons, and it's very clear the people behind it were very fond of the original show.
I know there's that interview where they said "No, we've never even watched it." But that was a sarcastic joke meant to rile up all the manchildren who were up in arms about the alternative take on the 2004 show in the first place. They wouldn't have gone out of their way to take so much from the original show if that weren't the case. They've even had the original versions of the characters cross over with the new ones multiple times, and the canon implication is that the new show is set in a timeline where Control Freak beat the Titans and intentionally fucked up the show permanently.
The only real problem with it is that they make too much, the humor is inconsistent, and they're too hung up on intentionally pissing off the people who've been irrationally mad at the show's existence for over a decade now.
