Absolutely loved it, played 7 years, and on the demonstrably inferior PS4 stepchild version, Genudine of course.
Became a godly ESF pilot, could never crack top 10 for ESF vs ESF fights but close enough and more or less best at anything else and most importantly actual battles. Amazing Tanks, Jeeps. Light Assault class was fun, prefer Engineer. Total Heavy Death.

Before they added the shitty lattice system, on the miller server no one was able to cont lock indar for months. Every time someone came close another faction would just take the crown and deny the lock. One friday night just before a double xp weekend some sneaky TR lads stayed up all night and managed to cont lock indar at like 4am.
The results were amazing. NC and VS shit themselves with envy and threw eveything they had at breaking the lock.
That weekend was brutal, just brutal. TR was pushed all the way back to spec ops training camp, the entire server was fighting over that tiny base, the server was shitting itself. Moments before the VS took the base, TR took the crown.
It was an eye opening experience, it showed off what potential the game had, when everyone was actually motivated to take the objective instead of fucking around and farming certs.

in the current state of the industry? it can only be a worse version
i member playing PS2 some 10 years ago and it was a ton of fun but it had p2w guns and i quit...or something like that, i just remember not liking the monetization

On PS4 we got to watch the story shit coming for like 3 years because updates were too slow.
Like an iceberg your ship is directly heading for, that gets to see other ships ram into it for days and still goes there despite being far less seaworthy.
Absolutely killed performance on Esamir to the point that they just disabled it...and its been that way for probably 4 years now lmao. Never seen such ineptitude and lack of communication and we had hundreds of whales buying $30+ bundles twice a month and like $100 worth every holiday.
