3 and CV are good, 0 is maybe worth playing once if you're desperate for more tank controls.
6 is worth playing just to see how fucked up it is

0, 3 and CVX are worth at least one playthrough, more if you actually like their gimmicks. 6 is dumb fun with a friend and some beers and snacks. Some people argue it has some cool mechanics but sadly theyre stuck within 6 awful level design and plot (that goes nowhere and is less relevant than the CGI movies)

3 isn't forgotten, moreso after how 3R didn't live up to expectations.
I like CV but I see why people don't.
I didn't like 0 because I hated switching between two characters and dropping items.

None of these are forgotten though. Survivor, Dead Aim, Gaiden, and Outbreak are the real forgotten RE games.

Code Veronica and 3 are ok, they're uninspiring which is why no one talks about them. 0 is ok too, but people hate that there's no inventory box. I tried to refund 6 but they don't let me for some reason.

Resident Evil 3 is absolutely not forgotten and it's a masterpiece. By all rights the best of the PS1 trilogy.
Code Veronica is highly flawed but it has its moments.
RE0 is dogshit except for the train backgrounds. Some of the worst moments in the franchise.
RE6 is easily the worst game in the series. It's still mind-boggling that Capcom made it. Such a bloated incomprehensible mess.

I wish I was good enough to skullfuck RE3. don't get me wrong, I think it's an amazing game, it's just that I'm not skilled enough to utterly clown on Nemesis in the early parts of the game the same way some faggot speedrunners do. looking at them utterly demolish Nemesis by getting him stuck on the levels' geometry is satisfying to see, I imagine it's even better to actually pull off
I liked Code Veronica despite all of its faults, ditto for RE6
...but RE0? RE0 can eat shit and rightfully get forgotten for all I care.

the first Nemesis fight is bullshit to your probably because you're stuck in the mindset that you _have_ to fight him in the precinct's courtyard. you don't, you can fight him outside as well and that leaves you a lot more room to maneuver, especially if you get him stuck in the hallway where there is the rusted door you have to open with the lockpick. I found the fight inside the precint proper much harder, but even that can be cheesed if you get him stuck in the bookshelf inside Marvin's office
the clock tower fight isn't *that* hard, by that point you should have enough of your favourite ammo to quickly solve the problem. I like enhanced handgun ammo because it does shitloads of damage and every shot staggers him
