It's actually amazing how those stories can go on for tens of thousands of words and yet have literally nothing of substance. Even when a nu SCP story starts to get good, it gets spammed with REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED because the nu writers don't understand that redactions should be used to add to the horror and build a sense of dread and mystery, not to write a half assed story where you don't explain anything because you're too lazy to come up with a fascinating story
