>>718631609 (OP) >caring about "characters" in shart of doody games
It's not 2011 anymore, you aren't in middle school anymore, this garbage is for CHILDREN
In a perfect world cod died in 2011. Infinity ward just completed their modern warfare trilogy with an okay final game, Treyarch gave us World at war and black ops 1 but stopped before things got too out of hand and kookily. The world moved on and complete abortions like Blops II (fuck you it was bad) and the rest since never happened. The end.
>Call O' Poopy Black Cocks T'wah is getting the modern warfare treatment >Raoul Menendez again but with MIND BENDING DRUGS THIS TIME!!! >THERE'S ALSO AN ARMY OF THE ROBOTS FROM INFINITE WARFARE!!
Imagine still being a fan of, or genuinely excited for this fucking shit.
Anybody got a picture of that uncanny looking black-haired tranny secretary lady from the big bad corporation in the trailer?
i really, really liked infinite warfare because of the plane levels. I wish for more plane/dropship/etc gameplay in games. Ace Combat isn't enough for arcade plane shit.

this.
I could tolerate him coming back in BO2 but when they brought him back in BO4 I just thought “holy fuck these guys are out of ideas”. Watch them bring him back in the next Black Ops

yeah that game's campaign was pretty great >taking back the capital after the sdf's raid >the moon port stage where you can break the windows and the enemies get literally btfo >the optional infiltrations into enemy ships >the mission on jupiter's moon >the crash landing on mars
infinity ward sure knows how to make a good campaign

I do like BO2 but I kinda agree. Franchise should’ve ended with MW3. BO2, as good as it is, was a completely unnecessary sequel. But in an idea world, Sonic would’ve ended with SA2 and Halo would’ve ended with Halo Reach. It’s just natural for vidya franchises to overstay their welcome I guess

Infinite Warfare is wild to me because on paper it fucking sucks and the trailer was horribly received but when I actually played it ten years later I actually quite enjoyed it. I even did all the side quests because the game was just that fun. But I do think the game relies a little too much on its tearjerker ending. They should’ve at least left out those cringy eulogies during the credits scene. Less is more. Also the villain was basically fucking non existent
>>718636701 >hijack Jon Snow's giga battleship and wormhole it to Martian orbit >"Olympus, verify fire status. You are reading weapons red." >that sound as the F-SPAR charges and then Hans Zimmer 'BWWWWWWAAAAAAAAMPPPPPPPSSSSS' an enemy ship so hard it fucking shatters >that comm chatter as the enemies panic and try to know why their flagship is firing on them >hostile warships blowing up all around you as they keep sending in more and more to stop you >takes like 30 of them to finally get the gun offline
Fucking kino

desu the bad guy was just mars. John Snow was just the face. I'm pretty sure it was just his schedule that kept them from doing more with him, but dude wasn't an operator, he was just a politician, a figurehead, the face of the whatever was bubbling up on mars against earth, inside a super weapon. shooting him wouldn't stopthe war, it would just jump start it, that's why they had to blow up the shipyards (or something, just killing the guy wasn't going to do shit, this was the most esoteric bad guy cod had)

I wish that instead of the whole goodbye message thing from the KIAs they actually explained the aftermath of the campaign in the end credits via news reports or something. Assuming you do all the side quests the campaign ends with both the Earth and Mars fleets totally crippled.
If they ever make an Infinite Warfare sequel they focus on the mission teams from the multiplayer and make it about various PMCs fighting on behalf of the UNSA and SDF since both side are crippled after the events of the war

I think like Ghosts, and Advance Warefare, they kept it open for sequels that didn't happen.

The grapple kills were pretty visceral when you can see the enemy's HUD freaking the fuck out as their visor cracks more and more until it shatters and you expose their face to the vacuum of space and they die.

And Gears should've ended with 3 as well. Cause the Halo universe is straight up big enough to explore other characters but Gears was all about the locust war and 3 concluded the story, so it was odd that they rehashed the story again for 4 and 5 (which ended up backfiring horribly in 5)
>>718637959
if they had commited, they could have done both. show the status quo being a cold war because neither planet could reach out and end the other one anymore and let the crew they worked so hard to get you to give a fuck about have a curtain call.
Kek, people are shitting on it right now but years later it's gonna get the same treatment like Infinite Warfare and people will praise it as one of the most underrated COD.
Gamers are subhumans.
