I just got done with Oblivion after not playing it since the Xbox 360. It was great, but I want to play more. I also haven't played Skyrim since the Xbox 360, but obviously that one's been continually re-released and updated. Is it worth picking it up for a Xbox Series X and playing again?

so no. I played skyrim for the first time as my first ever TES game in 2023 and I barely found it worth the time. Its increadibly shallow and restrictive and you will constantly crash against walls trying to roleplay. The main story is uninteresting, the majority of the quest feel like filler waste of time, the combat is tedious and unrewarding and I found the art style drab and ugly.

Yes. People will be pissy about it being official mods, but AE is perfectly fine and all the stuff is at least decent.
It adds bloat, but that's a good thing in a Beth game because you want more shit to run around and do.
