To be fair, the whole stuff about the MC going to different entertainment businesses (TV, acting, youtubing, idols, manga) and show them as an insider was pretty good. Makes the whole revenge plot seem more like an excuse for all that stuff.
The author probably grew bored of the MC, the harem and the plot and just went fuck all, kek.

The author was already doomed the moment he made Oshi no Ko. The main reason why he wrote it is that he is bitter about his ex-wife cheating on him (no, seriously). The previous manga wasn't finished yet, but he made a new one, and both of them are weekly, which is incredibly taxing. Both of those manga's qualities nosedived after a while.
