Sorry your currency sucks. There's also a $1999 one that's out of stock.

Just ask for a higher wage as that is how the system is supposed to work :^)

You don't need a higher wage. You should make the same amount as everyone else as that is how the system is supposed to work :^)

Theft. I have deliberately misplaced no fewer than 8 50** packages and thrown them in a junkyard instead of delivering them to their intended destination.

I just spent $2000 on a vr headset, you can easily afford a teeny tiny $4699, just take out some of your index funds.

More than 5k because of the higher power draw too

5090 is clearly an AI card. Wait for the Super refresh, the 5070Ti Super and 5080 Super are rumored to have 24GB VRAM and there should be a decent boost in performance too from the 40XX series so upgrading will be worth it.

There are poorfags playing modern slop on 4060 cards so you clearly don't need the flagship to play games just lower resolution and settings.

woah really?
the 5000 series is going to be better than 4000?

It's crazy that you need $400 after tax just to play at 1080p while maintaining at least 60 fps.

Right now it barely is, if you have a 4000 card and buy a 5000 you get a sidegrade. It used to be that buying the next generation got you the performance of the card that was a tier above from the previous gen. Now you're lucky if you even get 7%* on the same class of GPU and as a bonus you get busted drivers and no physx 32bit support

I'll probably wait until 60 series gets the Ti treatment to try buying a 50 Ti. Top shelf components have always been a bit of a crapshoot in terms of cost-benefit, I've found trailing one generation behind, or skipping every other generation to yield the best benefit. Single digit percentage performance increase over previous cards is just not worth over a grand, especially now we're running into manufacturing kinks like standard connectors melting in their sockets.

a 5080 super or not will be 450W, thats 3090ti territory, anything beyond the 5070 TI Super is for AI shit

it already is on any new release that is properly optimized for blackwell cards. poorfags are just gaslighting themselves because old games that do not take advantage of the newer architecture shows meager gains

I sure hope so, I would like to retire my 3090 to keep doing AI shit and it's too late to get a 4090 for a reasonable price now and used 4090 cards are a minefield

I just stick with my 3070 to play xbox/ps3 era games, VN's and indie stuff. The only "good looking" recent games I have on my PC is just RDR2 and ghost of tsushima.

The PS5 is unironically a good deal considering it plays everything, is backwards compatible with PS4 and has physical games so you can buy used games for cheaper and resell what you don't plan to keep and replay

I just set aside money in another bank account from every paycheck. At the end of the year I usually have a couple thousand dollars to spend on whatever.

It's nice having the power around. You know you can pretty much install anything and it'll run okay. Not say you are incorrect. Most AAA games suck and aren't worth playing. Actually, can't name any AAA games worth playing off the top of my head.
