No Mercy is the only one that really matters. The N64 AKI games did such a perfect job of progressing the genre. Each one was good, but, importantly, each one was better than the next in essentially every category. No Mercy is the perfect wrestling game, again importantly, even if someone isn't a wrestling fan, because at its heart it's just a plain good game.

I stopped thinking they would be good after Here Comes the Pain. They reached perfection on the career mode, the gameplay. Everything. I think it was WWE shut your mouth which was the only second most decent game.

I'll be very blatantly obvious that I've always been a picky fan when it comes to wrasslin. Attitude and Ruthless Aggression is what I like to see. So I check in every now and then with the show, see if I think there's talent that reminds me of that era. If I don't, I stop watching and come back again some years later.

I had fun with the n64 on the early 00s but I really got into lucha libre (Im mexican) around 2006, from old El Santo movies to actually going to Arena Mexico, etc., and I remember having fun with Day of Reckoning games on GameCube, I even played with some friends whom didnt care about wrestling and they still enjoyed them
