1. It's illogical (there is no logical reason why Emily would turn evil because you kill evil people)
2. It's childish finger-wagging moralizing ("If you kill evil people you become as bad as them!"
3. It guilt-trips the player for doing the literally most fun and satisfying thing in the game, killing evil people. This is objectively bad game design. Fun is the purpose of games, the sole goal everything exists for. Games should never impose any kind of penalties with the player having fun, that is simply bad game design.
