What I want to know is WHY did it take so fucking long? Why were they radio silent?
Did they have legal trouble with finances? Did they fuck off to the bahamas with all the cash they made from Hollow Knight and now they're getting skint so they actually knuckled down? Did they accidently lose Silksong's base source code somehow or delete it and it punched the wind from their sails for a fuck of a long time?
There's no feasible fucking reason for it to have taken so long unless they just said 'Fuck it we have families to look after who cares about a sequel right now', and even then they're reusing assets so IT SHOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN SO LONG.

This game is being hyped up based almost entirely by Australians. This game to them is what the Witcher series is to Poland. The actual quality of the game doesn't matter to them, they are just blindly supporting it because of the nationality of the developers.

They waited 15+ years for a new metroid. They got dread. It was 70 dollars for 5-6 hours of content. Hollow knight absolutely mogged it by being 40 hours for 15 bucks.
