Tide games have rudimentary and out of place loot and crafting systems, both of which piss everyone all the time, because people just want perfect weapons for their builds and don't care at all for looting aspect. In every game Fatshark starts with cancerous incarnation of both trying to push them more, which causes malding and then they spend years fixing it until it finally arrives at point where both crafting and loot are functionally pointless after a short time, since it's finally possible to quickly get perfect weapons usable forever without a need for change.
They are l4d clones at their core, but more indepth and autistic, with focus on melee combat. Which fucks over l4d players, since they come from a game where unloading guns into hordes is encouraged, but in Tide games is a downright griefing of your team.
This EYE game will end up with a weird rift in playerbase if both looter shooter playerbase and l4d/Tide playerbase both will be baited into it. With one malding at not enough looting mechanics, while other malding at a very prospect of grind being a thing
