He and Voidco were a lot better than I thought they'd be. I thought we'd be getting Broodals 2 but now I hope they all come back in future games.
It's funny though, in an alternate timeline where K. Rool never came back I'd probably resent them anyway for not being him. It feels like that'd be unfair but I'm sure that's what would happen.

All three new Kongs were great. The way Grumpy talks to you post game is funny, as well as Poppy regaining her composure after beating her.

I like that Grumpy has some nuance to him. He's big and strong and takes his work seriously but he's also interested in the artistic aspects of his creations instead of just making efficient machines and mostly just wants to be appreciated for his talent. It's also interesting that he's the more forgiving of the two toward Void in the end.

I watched some streamer that said basically the same thing. If Void Kong was the final villain he'd be hated for not being K. Rool, but because the Kremlings were in the game they could appreciate Void Co. too.

I feel like that's just a perspective thing considering how fucking MASSIVE K Rool is when you defeat him. DK only looks smaller than everything up close because everything else is made massive so you can see it clearly from a distance.
