It's just bite sized elden ring basically. You get to try out different build archetypes and fight bosses without actually having to deal with replaying a massive open world game. If you only played elden ring for muh exploration and atmosphere then sure, you can skip this game, but I like playing some soulslop with my friends without having to jump through loops. Maybe the game conceptually isn't for you but I wouldn't say it has no point since it's basically very close to monster hunter's thing AND its getting way higher numbers than wilds lol
