>4 buttons, and a lack of pressure sensitivity except for the shoulders. It's lacking a wide range of options.
By that logic it would still only be missing 2 buttons, the triggers are dual stage with distinct inputs when they bottom out.
>Saying this during the generation where console FPS games began their rise and with numerous excellent games to their genre is such a meandering non-argument. Who are you trying to appeal to? This is a thread about consoles, console games.
That's an excellent time to fucking say it, since it marks the decline of every game that made use of PC's free camera control scheme in favor of something that required such vast oversimplification and assistance. The relatively minor limitations of controllers are such a non-issue when compared to that disparity.
>Xbox offered definitive versions of numerous 6th generation games that people like yourself would hop on the moment it became convenient for you.
Name one definitive version that you shouldn't just play on PC, the practice of multiplats just lead to increasingly mediocre games.
>Your entire post is trash. You lost focus after the first sentence and meandered aimlessly with no goal in those paragraphs. Work on that.
You lost focus the instant I threw shade on Xbox and didn't even address my second point. Both of my points are entirely coherent and all arguments are in service of the central theses of those points, those being:
>The missing button on the Gamecube is a relatively minor issue
>The Dpad is not relevant on a controller for 3D games
