That's the problem with roguelikes. If you design bosses to be beatable in every run it's too easy, if you design them to be balanced around an OP run then they're bullshit.

He's nowhere near the easiest everdark shitter. The aoe circles wreck you if you are enegaged in any animation at all. Which would be acceptable if their damage was reasonably tuned. Seriously just adjust the aoe circle damage a bit and nerf the buffed summons. Leave base summons as is and leave all of his behavior as is. As it stands the fight is doable with a competent team of randoms that understands to take it slow and methodical. I'm scared what it will turn into with ranked mode lazy scaling which will inevitably just be health and damage scaling.

What kind of gay writing is this? It’s happening but you’re also threatening them if they don’t? And said threat is deleting an item like that’ll do anything? What’s the point of this article, and why do these sorts of articles always come from this exact same site?

The new everdark, Gladius, is pretty fun. Haven't fought it solo yet but beat it 4 times in trios.

I faced this boss once and the Revenant and Recluse I was paired with got so fucking overpowered that we beat him no problem.
