No, that's before the 7th generation, now you have to set up the internet connection, setup wireless devices, make an account, update games, download games, it's not a simple plug and play thing like the PS2.

there are triple A games from the last decade or so on there. i recently played control which was really good. also deus ex mankind divided. tomb raider. witcher 3. reternal, kena spirits, batman arkham, ghost of tsushima, etc etc. a lot of AA and AAA games I probably would never have bought. and yes, a fuckload of indie games to. frankly I don't even know how this is profitable. i see games on there that came out just a few years ago.

There isn't a big difference between the base ps5 cpu and the pro model one. They aren't optimizing shit to make the pro model better they are making the base model "passable" which in turn makes the pro model "passable". The pro is not performance gaming because of the cpu. It can't be.

What makes the PS5 Pro a bad deal is that if you're willing to spend $750 you are also likely to be willing to spend another couple hundred dollars. The same can't be said for someone willing to spend $500 for a regular PS5.

Nobody goes in with a mindset of "I want the best $750 machine possible". They look for what they want and then decide from there. The base ps5 is best balanced system for new games it fills the niche of being cheap, people that are spending more are doing so for more performance which the pro fails to deliver because of the cpu bottleneck it'll run into. It's a worthless excuse of a machine that serves no purpose. Base ps5 or pc for high performance are the only legitimate options the pro is nonsense not the best anything.
