I know people think its autism but fucking Mario keeps getting a new model about every generation, Sonic hasnt had a major change since Unleashed, they should retire this model and get a new one already. Like its hard to see a major leap since we havent evolved past the fucking PS3
Like even Classic Sonic has had more recent changes. He looked different in Generations but then changed in Mania but then changed in Superstars. It wouldnt kill the devs to actually try to make a model that maybe hearkens back to SA2, or maybe do something like 06, or hell something close to Movie Sonic or Sonic Prime, why not?

Seriously, where did all of the budget for Sonic games go? Whenever they talk in the games in the games it's so static and lifeless. I was too busy noticing this and their absolutely bastardized personalities in Colors when people were praising it for some reason.

The worst thing about current Sonic's model is the enforced sidemouth. I hate it. Seeing Shadow's mouth flip sides when you turn the camera in Shadow Generations looks totally retarded.

Because it looks like fucking dogshit the way they did it in the 2000s. I will never understand zoomers and their emotional attachment to ugly pug dog mouth Sonic models. The only way Sonic's mouth works in 3D is to do both side AND middle mouth, depending on the viewing angle. Doing one or the other no matter what just looks bad. OP's Sonic model on the right's mouth placement is perfectly fine for that angle. The real issue is the absolutely stiff and unexpressive eyes that Sonic Team refuse to emote with beyond fucking eyelids. And maybe the quill placement, but that's about it. Everything else is just "WAAHH CHANGE BAD" tier 2000s nostalgiafag complaints.
