If you want DKB to be harder, just don't level health and don't buy any of the easy mode items from the shop. You'll still find some of the easy mode items, but not many honestly if you're not buying them. Doing this doesn't make the game ball bustingly hard, but it makes it challenging enough to keep you on your toes.
