Playing it now and the whole game feels bland coming off of 2.
Shame because the setting and setup has high potential for pure kino. But damn making you run through the same areas with the same random encounters 200 times over 3 different perspectives was not the way.

Thomas is the only good Tenkai Star in the series. The other one are garbage blank slate special snowflake characters because dumb japs need to self insert.
i remember buying this shit at full price on release, at the time i could only buy like 1 or 2 games per year full price, game was so shit and imbalanced 3 perspectives storyline bs
Suikoden 3 has massive amounts of SOUL all things considered and a pretty decent story.
Its just a shame Suikoden's story never progressed past 3 given it is the furthest in the timeline before they started shitting the bed with off-screen prequels and side stories.
