The AI bubble burst, what does xbox do now?
Its no secret the current CEO of microsoft has been pushing the company to go 100% all in on AI because he fell hard for the "Next Big Thing" scam from techbro hustlers and big publishers like Bethesda, Blizzard and the like have all be ordered to integrate AI into every facet of their upcoming releases.
But just like NFTs, the Metaverse, The Dot Com Bubble down toe fuckin' Beanie Babies the bubble has once again burst and /biz/ are once again left holding a bag trying to ignore the sweet siren song of their stepdads 45. in the family gun cabinet.
With the next Xbox apparently entirely focussed on AI at the core of the experience and taking into account how badly they have been doing for like a decade is this actually the thing that kills them?

no wonder, he keeps burning money while making shitty models
It's not a bubble, it's the future. Meta is just too retarded to compete with the rest.

It's probably a bubble, the way the internet was one. Which was a pretty big bubble.

It's 100% a bubble. AI is gonna stick around but this current obsession with it is gonna end soon and take a bunch of AI companies with it.

Meta just sucks dick. Google Gemini 2.5 pro is what most people use now to generate porn novels and porn adventure rpgs. Not sure how long the gravy train will last though

Key difference is the dot com bubble had people on every rung of the social ladder putting money in. AI's a scam that was sold almost entirely to the rich who usually offset losses by firing people. But they already fired the people they can afford to lose thinking they would replace them with AI.
Woops.

Lmao. All bubbles will be sustained with new debt until the debt bubble itself pops. This is the new normal and it will go on for a decade more at least

I can literally only think of a handful of things I've found useful and practical with AI. Even fewer if I don't include porn. AI being able to generate captions and subtitles more easily is cool, I guess? I've seen some stuff where AI helps blind people get around better. Not personally useful for me at the moment, but that's neat.
Otherwise, everything else about AI feels like it's driven by True Believers, wanting Roko's Basilisk to come true, or people addicted to AI generated porn.

Bubble popping or not depend on how much money can save(read make) more money, If you need trillions to save millions when nobody will stop that shit and that's exactly what will happen here. The corporations are as much of useful idiots as everyone else but the bank can't lose.
