some games with story driven stuff, yeah. Otherwise the only discourse I see around single player games far past their release are to argue whether the game was shit or not. Or games people played as kids and have staying power because of it. It seems like nobody even wants to argue this game sucks

Outside of the occasional loli feet thread, this was the expected outcome for a 3D platformer. There is no story or characters for /v/ to obsess over, so discussion fades out, regardless of how good it is. See Astrobot

This happens to basically every game nowadays. The online discussion cycle has gotten so fucking fast that barely anything holds relevance for more than a month or two.
