The editing in that trailer is horrible. Also, yes the voices in it do sound different. I regularly replay MGS3 so I know how it should sound and that is not right. Specifically Snakes voice. The other characters sound mostly the same, the major difference in their case being that they sound less compressed. I think they went back to the masters that they had of their voice takes and might've picked different takes than the ones they used in the final version of the original for some reason. Snake though sounds like some of his lines were rerecorded as he sounds too much like modern David Hayter's Big Boss voice (Not as gravely as horrible voice Kojima made him do for Old Snake or PW Big Boss, but still more gravely than when he was younger and sometimes gets too guttural with the beginning and end of some sentences)

One of the primary issues affecting SH2 and (MUCH WORSE) STALKER 2 is world size. Both games used World Partition in an engine version (5.1.1) where it was still considered in an alpha state (Epic straight up told devs to never ship a game with it in this state). Prior to version 5.5, when World Partition went "gold" and became a finalized feature there was massive streaming and PSO indexing problems with it, it caused insane performance issues, especially when using nanite (STALKER 2 heavily used nanite but SH2 didn't, it only active on like 5% of object). Know what MGS3 is? A bunch of tiny locations stitched by loading screens, something that won't be using WP or anything to suffer from world size.

The scope of the game is still pretty narrow in terms of level design so it might be alright because of that. No huge maps or open world to process. But on the other hand it's still running on trashengine 5, so waiting for the reviews is your best bet.
The game's pricing and Konami's post Kojima track is ridiculous to take a bet on in any case.

Though even know MGO3 is probably fully dead I should probably give it another go as I did judge it too harshly. Coming from eyes expecting it to be as fun as MGO2.
I also was salty as fuck at MGSV by then as not only was it clearly unfinished but I had buggy shit stopping me from being able to 100% it so I lost my mojo with the game by the time the online dropped.
So much I dont even think I used up the time for my XP buff I got from preordering.
I honestly didn't play MGSV again for 9 years. Not even ironically. pic related. I fully reset the game and replayed it (desu wish I didnt reset it desu as restocking the entire 4 FOBs was a super fucking long af mission)

its literally the worse MGS game. Its a fucking menu sim with dogshit, no fun tools to play around with, barely any stealth just running, massive on rails sections, a fucking escort mission and worse of all a massive amount of annoyance in replay value.
Unlike every other MGS game that is fun to replay, MGS3 is cancer to replay.

Hopefully delta will tone down the menu shit to make it more bearable and the 2 different legacy and TPS styles will give it more longevity.

I played without reflex 1st time but put it back on after 1st playthrough as its retarded everyone knows where you are instantly.
Doesnt help in MGSV that camo is basically an illusion. Only helps in like small amount of meters close to the enemy.
