It is, souls like and hack & slash genre brought it.
I'm enjoying every single minute of it.
The sheer seethe that is causing is amazing.
Even watching western strimmers like Elajjaz, every time a game like that popped up the chat went up in flames while Ela himself was hyped.
The Black Myth new game announcement at the end was the killing shot, the roach king Asmongold is a HUGE simp for the first game so you bet he is hyping the sequel to the moon and with that bastard reach and influence the western industry is straight up screaming behind closed doors because of it.

After the Wuchang flop, I'm skeptical of anything but Black Myth.
