of course it wasn't, it was just annoying to hit pause and switch to iron boots all the time. that said, the water temple showed us the future of games was for the dumbest people in the world. nintendo never made a dungeon that required this much thinking again, let alone any dungeons on par with ocarina's.

water temple was honestly one of the easiest dungeons in the game for me, i only really hated the time wasted equipping and removing the iron boots. fire/forest temple were way more cancer and annoying than water temple.

I remember being stuck in the snow temple in TP for awhile, but I think it was something stupid I was just missing
skyward sword was the one with the most handholding

the real answer is maybe i was just a little older and it was easier because i wasn't a little kid

i mean, me and my friends were flummoxed by jabu-jabu's belly for weeks until we realized the crates were the key. we couldn't just pull out our phones to look it up at the time

Actually feels like a maze to traverse.
People that dislike it is the reason why we got shit like the divine beasts.
