If you had asked me that months ago when they first revealed the game, I would've said yes because I loved Riders and Sonic Transformed.
But seeing more of the gameplay and especially the roster has kinda ruined it for me. I'll probably still play the beta because why not, but at best I don't see myself doing anything other than buying this game only after it gets a big discount.

I don't care anything about Cream myself, but there's nothing wrong with a "cool" franchise (attempted, more so) having characters that don't fit that exact mold. You don't want everyone overlapping, talking with the same voice, and fitting the same niche.
"Polite little girl" serves as a good contrast to "snarky daredevil" in an ensemble, and that's why Cream works, generally.
