Jrpgs literally don't have any of the "role playing" aspects this genre is supposed to have. They should honestly just be called Japanese number grinders, since that's the only gameplay they have.

Now that Expedition 33 is a big hit there is anger but it is more subdued.

It is more of a frustration then anything. They always bring up Metaphor as they know bringing up FF would just invoke laughter.
