Yeah. Even though Diavolo bumbles his way through the entire part (seriously, everything he does is immediately followed up with some kind of fuck up that helps the gang), he was built up very early on, the first half is delivering his daughter and then the second half is bringing him down. The one thing JJL does better is that JoJo actually interacts with his final villain whereas Giorno does nothing with Diavolo. Imagine if he was the guy Giorno saved as a kid?
