A lot of people around here seethe over him, and I do kinda get it, he's very smug
but 99% of his opinions feel at least somewhat thought out and I can respect them and can find his takes interesting even though I may at least partially disagree a lot of the time
People criticize his skills at playing but I don't even know how its relevant given his writing and analysis is often great
He's good enough to understand the genres and by video game essayist standards he's a god, but that aside, the best players in the world don't make insightful content at all and this idea that you need to be the best to analyze shit is really out of touch and worthless pedantic purist perspective
He's one of my favorite channels and any time I've come across someone who despises him it feels like pure contrarianism with no substance
