You can maybe rationalize it by saying no one actually knows where New Namek is since Goku only ever goes through via IT plus they probably only had enough tech left for either a space ship or time machine and the time machine was the better option I guess. King Kai probably could have passed on the message to New Namek though and I'm sure the Namekians would have used the DBs to pay Goku back a favor. All in all, it's really just a plothole since Toriyama wasn't putting much thought into it. Even if they got brought back though, you have to remember that the Z Fighters were waaaay weaker in Trunks' timeline since they weren't giving a heads up to start training for deadly Androids, so a Piccolo/Kami fusion would have been weaker than our timeline's Piccolo and still would have gotten fucked.

Honestly same. I enjoy Metroidvanias and I hear such great things about the gameplay, but the artstyle completely turns me off and I have no desire to play whatever weird bug creature that thing is supposed to be.
