All the actual good developer that were still working got too old and died or got scared during covid and retired now there is no talent and the technological advancement comes in making sure even the most incompetent retard can make a game (unreal engine 5) between copilot, assets and people strugglign with low level coding no one even knows how to make a competent game let alone a good one so we just get thinly veiled remakes and everyone making the same games over and over a game because of the amount of lost knowledge in the industry
