Sagat came out but the nature of SF6's mechanics means he doesn't really do anything different from the rest of the cast.
Strive got Lucy which is bringing in some normalfags but more importantly it *finally* has a normal matchmaking system after 5 fucking years. The tower can rot in hell.

SF is entering a phase where people don't care about the game anymore. They'll have to come up with some kind of “insert gimmick” edition that includes all the game content and an overhaul of the systems. Maybe they'll make the game F2P. Since I imagine the shareholders are already satisfied, it might even be worse: they'll release SF7 or some crossover or something like that.
