RD2 is a masterpiece so excuse Rockstar if the evolution seems "minor". It's much easier to see leap in generation when techonlogy was new, than now. early 2000's was peak. You can't expect the same evolution in 2025, it just not possible.

The hair on the models looks like shit, like playdoh. The character models are only held together because you can tell more advanced mocap is going on which distracts you from how they're not really all that high quality at all. That's one nitpick I'll list. But I can post that one image someone made demonstrating how GTA 6 fails to demonstrate a generation leap.

The game has probably one of the best physics engines I've ever seen. Car damage, ragdolls, the way people react to bullet wounds is out of this world
It has the best graphics on the market
Performance on base PS5 sucks, fps dips often. Pro handles it much better
The story is supposed to be heartwrenching, I don't know the details, unfortunately
Driving is very, very satisfying. Every car has its own character
Safe houses are customizable
Weather effects are the best I've seen in any video game
Map is not as big as you guys think, but it is enough

Is there actual some attempt at driving physics again like IV did to mixed results. Or is it back to V's sort of approach? I also don't believe you have play tested anything. To claim its graphics are the best on the market is something that can be picked apart within their own promotional images. You can claim it does certain things well, but it doesn't do everything well.

Regarding driving, it is much more "alive" and detailed. I don't think it's similar to IV, I think it is more realistic and satisfying.
