We're entering a new dark age of game optimization and Timmy and Jensen are to blame. You will pay a thousand dollars or more to run games at 480p (upscaled to 4K thanks to DLSS6) at 60 fps (30 fake frames) and you will be happy.

Back in the day the terrible PC port of Arkham Knight was a freak accident rather than a common occurence, and the game ran well on console (+ the game looked amazing). Nowadays a well optimized game is a strong plus and we have the privilege of getting blurry shit, dithering on hair or any transparency effect and non-working mirrors (say thank you).
