BL2 was at least decent to push through if you muted voices, the game was still somewhat fun
BL3 is like that too but unfortunately it's EXTRA gay with running around a ship, to talk to a quest guy, only to run across the ship, to talk to someone at the other side
they have radios and they're forcing you to do this MULTIPLE TIMES, along with the complete shitshow that was BL3 story i couldn't even stomach it despite the gameplay being better, you were constantly locked into rooms with these dumb people who talk and talk and talk about nothing in particular other than rambling jokes that are more often than not, barely worthy of a smile
tldr; BL2 was still good despite the story, BL3 is shit despite the gameplay being better because it's locked behind the god awful story with the worst plotholes ever
