i recently got back into playing FTL again and i was curious about the multiverse mod, is it good? i kinda skimmed through some of the deets and it seems like a lot to unpack, maybe even too much

the only ship i dont have unlocked is the crystal cruiser and its making me want to blow my brains out trying to unlock it

It's not bad but it's kinda unfocused and crazy. it adds so much disparate shit that it doesn't feel like an expansion and is always reminding you it's a big mod made of smaller mods.
if you really need new content to check out go for it but I don't think it's an improvement over the base game

beat the game with every ship
or use Rock Cruiser C, it starts with a Crystal man and you just gotta find a Rock Homeworld sector
personally, I beat the game with every ship it was fun except the ships that made me want to never play again
