Sure thing bud, another thing that will help you on your "journey into coding" is Harvard's free CS50 course. It should help you wrap your head around how programming generally works and therefore help you with general problem solving.

At a certain point you’re supposed to learn that coding languages each have their own pros and cons and should be versatile in moving between languages for any specific job.
So saying there’s a one true best language is wrong.

i've been debating on messing with ue4. my main reasoning is that it's been out for so long there has to be a ton of optimizations available for it right? plus i found a particular dev file with a ton of assets that seem useful for automating some stuff. along with blueprints i figured it would be really convenient to prototype stuff in. would i be missing out not using godot/ue5/unity or other more up to date engines?
