FromSoftware balance changes are rarely casualization, even when they nerf, the nerf is barely a nerf, just some additional frames of recovery so slower weapons can get a single hit in.

The only nerf that comes to my mind that was unjustified and was casualization, is the nerf to the Crystalian Trio in Elden Ring, they catered to subhuman casuals with that nerf.

Overall, the FromSoftware nerfs can't be compared to the game raping changes that games like Lies of Piss, Khazan, WuChang etc. got or the censorship that Stellar Blade and WuChang got.

Blood is a personal preference but why are the other two bad? I watched the China Joy footage again and the weapon switching looks basically like the legion switching of Astral Chain. I guess it's done that way because they want to visually have the weapons materialize around him. As for stamina, the game looked really fast a aggressive so I don't see the issue of slightly limiting your defense.

They hamstrung the game extremely hard with the 30 FPS performance imo. There were also too many RPG mechanics. The DT mode also sucks, but Platinum has always been really bad at doing a DT mode so it's par for the course.

The fps never got in the way of my enjoyment. The only issue I had was the pacing between action and the investigations segments. The combat was phenomenal but it takes a long time to get going. Still a great action game overall though and the slo-mo legion switching never was an issue for me which is why I brought it up. Once you knew where each legion was, the switching was fast and the slo-mo was hardly noticeable which is what I'm thinking LSA will be like.
