Sort of the same for me. I found out of 4chans existence I think back in 2007 but I only visited it a handful of times until like 2011 when I became a regular. The reputation of the site back then always intimidated me. Plus I never knew it had a video game board for discussion. With Newgrounds you could actually play games while you were stuck in your next shitty class you wanted to be over with nothing else to do.
