the game was pretty easy for the most part. the inversion and split screen was dumb in stage 6 but the bosses were a joke.

There are 1ups but they're hidden in candles that look the same as all the others.
I've found at least 3 that I can remember. Still not easy with the game throwing instakills at you, but very doable compared to the absolute mounds of bullshit Castlevania 3 can throw at you.
