not only does it have very slow load times but it has a failsafe where if loading takes over 30 seconds, it lets you play while it continues to load with severe pop-in
it's been at barely playable quality on PS4 for years and as they keep expanding it it's simply not feasible to keep it playable on a 5400rpm SATA II HDD + 2013 laptop grade CPU

Because the game REQUIRES an SSD to be decently playable. With an SSD it will run well even on a mid end laptop.

With an HDD it will struggle even on an otherwise high end desktop PC.

PS4 still runs on SATA-2 HDDs and it's storage speed was already outdated in 2012 when the PS4 literally JUST came out. And PCs already started to transition to SSDs.

The fuck are you talking about? i play on a 1060 6gb with a ryzen 5 2600 and 1tb HDD older than my ps4 slim and i have no issue runing on highest settings 60fps. The HDD is not the issue here, its the gpu and cpu of the ps4 that cannot run the game even on minium settings
